An admission to CBH begins with one phone call to our facility. No referral is necessary. Our Intake Department receives calls from physicians, counselors, loved ones, and even patients themselves. The following is our usual intake process:
- Call to speak with someone in intake and admissions
- An immediate assessment will be scheduled
- Upon completion of the assessment, our intake counselor will either recommend admission or make an appropriate referral elsewhere
- If admission is recommended, our physician will authorize the admission and the patient will be accompanied to the floor where they will received immediate attention from our clinical team
IMPORTANT: Patients must be medically cleared or medically stable prior to admission. This can involve obtaining medical clearance from the patient’s physician or local hospital. Patients with extensive medical problems will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
