We are able to provide care for some existing medical problems patients have; however, since we are not a medical-surgical hospital, we must make sure that we can safely manage any medical condition a patient has prior to his/her admission. For specific questions about exclusionary conditions, please call the Intake office at 912-354-3911.

Each patient has an individualized treatment plan designed to address his/her behavioral health needs. Patients participate in group and individual therapy, recreational therapy and family counseling sessions throughout each day during their stay. Although patients have opportunities to enjoy free-time, they are expected to be active participants in their individualized treatment plan.

We are required to comply with state and federal laws to keep patient information confidential. We cannot tell anyone that you have even spoken to us without written approval from the patient/guardian. If a patient wants us to release information to another party, they must sign a "release of information" form that specifies "what" information they want to be released to a specified person. Top
We accept most types of insurance. We also accept Medicare, Tricare, and GA Healthy Families Medicaid (Wellcare; Amerigroup; Peachstate) plans. Unfortunately, we cannot accept Peachcare or SSI Medicaid plans due to our status as a "free-standing" psychiatric hospital. Payment arrangements can be made through our Business Office for those without insurance coverage. If you have any questions about your insurance coverage, please call our Intake office at 912-354-3911. Top
