General Psychiatric Services

For patients who need treatment in a more intensive or structured setting, this program is ideal. We accept voluntary as well as involuntary patients and anyone may make a referral to our programs. The first few days of the patient’s stay with us will be spent stabilizing him or her, medically and emotionally. Each patient is different and length of time in treatment is highly variable. Once the patient has been medically stabilized, we transition him or her to one of our other programs.

We accept involuntary commitments from emergency rooms, hospital floors, doctor's offices, and probate court. We accept voluntary patients from a variety of referral sources, including outpatient providers, college counseling services, employee assistance programs, and self referrals.
