Intensive Residential Program
Coastal Harbor Treatment Center’s (CHTC) Intensive
Residential Treatment Program is specifically designed to meet the needs of
children and adolescents.
This program addresses common issues such
as defiant behavior, psychiatric disorders, school problems, and family issues.
Our residential care addresses social skills and adaptability in
less-restrictive settings, self-esteem issues as they relate to this specific
population and sexual abuse/stereotyping as it relates to relationships and
power issues.
Our goal is to provide care for ages 7 to 17 with psychiatric diagnoses. The
objective of CHTC is to provide quality treatment and educational services that
promote personal and interpersonal growth. This will enable our residents to
make better, more responsible choices in an effort to transition them back home
or to a less restrictive setting.
